Antioxidant Power Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 cups of baby spinach
  • 1Tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 1Tbsp nut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt (sub for coconut yoghurt, if preferred).
  • 1Tbsp hemp seeds or chia seeds
  • Optional: 1 scoop of protein powder of your choice.

METHOD

  • Blend all ingredients in a high-powered blender, adding more liquid if too thick or ice if too thin.

TIPS

If you don't like banana, frozen cauliflower is a great subsitute (or you can just add this to your smoothie anyway and boost up the veggie content), once blended in, you can't even taste it!
