Chia Seed Pudding Recipe

This simple recipe can be used for breakfast, a delicious snack or even a filling dessert!


  • 1/4C Chia seeds
  • 1C almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2tsp cinnamon (or to taste)
  • 1tsp maple syrup (optional).
  • Coconut youghurt and fruit to serve


  1. Combine chia seeds, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup (if using) in a bowl and set aside for 20 minutes (or overnight, if preferred)
  2. Top with coconut yoghurt and chopped fresh fruit, such as berries, kiwi, banana, mango or any other fruit of choice


  • To make chocolate chia pudding, add in 1 tsp cacao when combining the seeds with the milk. You could also try doing this with matcha powder for a delicious green tea flavour.
  • Adjust sweetner to taste, you can also use honey, agave syrup or even coconut sugar
  • Topping your pudding with nut butter is a great way of increasing the protein in this recipe
  • Try topping your pudding with pepitas, flaxseeds and sunflower seeds for some added crunch
